- Membership: 90 including 20 Life Members. Two members resigned due to ill health, one passed away and 7 failed to renew membership despite reminders and invoices
- New Members: Drs. Lesley Newman and Davis Jones from Wakefield joined the Society on 20/9/2018
- Tastings Held: “Little Known Wines of Western Australia” at the Masonic Hall, tutored by David Connor of Sporting Wines and attended by 28 members. No images are available and a blog post was not published
- New Wines Tasted: 14
- Wines Delivered: Six cases of Pesquera ordered en primeur by 4 members in March were delivered by Armit Wines on the 14th. ‘Sporting Wines’ delivery was on the 18th
- Wines Bought For Tastings: Six Henschke wines bought from The Wine Society at £558 for a tasting in 2019
- Wines Bought By Members: From Sporting Wines after the tasting
- Wine Tours: 18 members took part in the “Autumn In The Rheingau” wine tour from 23rd – 30th September arranged by Peter Hofman
- The Blog: There were 758 visitors and 2790 views. 4 posts were published. There 577 Followers

- Membership: 96 including 20 Life Members. Charles & Kate Spencer joined the Society on 8th and Adam & Pam Sheppard on the 9th
- Tastings: “Boekenhoutskloof” was held at the Masonic Hall on Thursday 11 October. 10 wines were tasted by 26 members and a guest who attended. The under-subscribed event registered a deficit of £85.88
- Wine: 9 wine offers were made. Members ordered 6 cases
- Blog: 9 Posts were published. There were 3800 views from 400 visitors. The Blog has 581 followers worldwide
- Accounts: The closing balance is £1082.71. Members’ Credit Account has £3605.47

- Membership: 98 including 20 Life Members. Adrian & Harriet Lamb (Harrogate) joined the Society on 18th
- Wine Offers: Three wines were offered from Marimar Estate. members ordered Guigal Crozes-Hermitage Rouge and Warwick Cabernet Franc from the current Fells offer
- Events & Tours: “Mas de Daumas Gassac” vertical on the 8th at the Masonic Hall attended by 26 members and 2 guests. This was the last event for which Adam Vear provided catering. 27 members made reservations for the Society’s Christmas Lunch at Sasso. Work on the spring wine tour of Sicily continued
- Accounts: Opening balance £1082.71. Inflows £264.50. Expenses £75. Closing Balance £1272.21. Members Credit Account holds £4151.19

- Membership: 98 including 20 Life Members
- Events: The Society is back at the Harrogate Masonic Lodge with new chef Chris Durrant for all the wine events of the year. At present Chris is not charging corkage from us. The first wine event of the year was “Lebanon’s Finest Reds” – a tasting of 8 reds from Lebanon presented by Dr. David Scullion on Thursday 10 January with 28 members in attendance. It was followed by a two course supper. Four members sent in comments. No tasting notes or wine scores were submitted
- Wine Offers: There were six offers. 3 cases of wine were bought by Members
- HMWS Blog: There were 3498 views (up 33.6%) by 714 visitors. 10 posts were published (up 233%)
- Accounts: The Society’s current account has £1057.56. Members Credit account has a balance of £3836.54

- Events: Rob Buckley presented “New Zealand Pinot Noir” at the Masonic Hall on Thursday 7 February. 25 Members and 2 guests attended

- Blog: There were 1881 views by 604 visitors. 8 posts were published 7 of which were by Tony Lee about his trip to Galapagos, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia

- Events: “Henschke” tasting attended by 25 Members
- Wine Offers: Fells (17 cases bought) and Maison Cattin (25 cases bought)
- Blog: There were 1938 views from 651 visitors. No posts were published
- Accounts: The Closing Balance of the HMWS account is £643.57. The undersubscribed Henschke tasting required a subsidy of £147.80. Members’ Credit Account has a balance of £3001.45
May 2019
- Tours & Tastings: 10 members participated in the “Spring In Sicily” wine tour. There were no tasting events
- Wine: 10 cases of Matetic QC Syrah 2014 were sourced for 7 members
- Blog: There were 2024 views by 476 visitors. The three top pages were Hedonist (529 views), Home Page/Archives (350), and Members’ Wine Orders (84). The top three countries for views were UK (1408), Italy (138) and Portugal (113). There is still a significant number of HMWS members who wait for a daily email invitation from the Society to read the newsletter! 5 posts were published

- Tastings: “Kooyong Chardonnay & Pinot Noir” hosted by Drs. Alisdair & Elma Stewart was attended by 15 members

- Wines Bought: 24 bottles (2 wines) of Planeta wines, partly for the Summer Lunch, were bought from Enotria&Coe. 24 bottles (2 wines) were shipped from Tasca d’Almerita estate in Sicily. Some will be for the Summer Lunch.

- Blog: There were 2971 views of the HMWS Blog, mainly by 635 readers from the UK, Portugal and Italy. 9 posts were published

- Tastings: “Wines of Mullineux” tasting dinner at the Masonic Hall, tutored by Damian Carrington
- Tours: January “Seeing Ceylon” and May “Spring In The Rheingau” were cancelled due to lack of support
- Wine Offers: 11 offers were made. Members purchased a total of 9 cases of wine
- Wines Tasted: Ken Forrester’s Sparklehorse and 9 Mullineux wines were tasted by Members. Notes are posted on “Tasting Archives” page of the Blog
- Year 29 Membership: 15 Members renewed their membership of the Society in July (See “Year 29”)
- The Blog: There were 2345 views. 2 posts were published
- Accounts: Opening balance was £374.42. Inflows were £165 (Year 29 Subs.). Expenses were £452.31 (mainly subsidy for Mullineux tasting). Closing balance is £87.11. Members’ Credit Account holds £2852.46
August 2019
- Membership: 54 renewed membership. 3 reminders were sent out by the Society. There was no response from 15 members. 9 resigned (4 were active members). Two retired medics from New Zealand joined the Society. Membership at the end of August was 72. (26.53% drop)
- Wine Events: Summer Lunch at Sasso attended by 24 Members and 4 guests
- Tastings: “Ataraxia – A Small Group Tasting” was held at the Masonic Hall with 10 members
- Wine Offers: 22 cases were purchased from 9 offers
- The Blog: There were 610 visitors (Top 3: UK, US & Canada) and 3129 views. 6 posts were published
- Accounts: Inflows were £606.33 (Donations £30, Subs. £565, Wine £11.33). Expenses were £239.41 (Subsidies £109.69, Wine £129.72.) Closing balance is £454.03
