Harrogate Stray

Welcome to the Harrogate Medical Wine Society’s site. The HMWS, based in the North Yorkshire spa town of Harrogate, was founded in 1991 to further the appreciation and understanding of fine wine. It is open to all lovers of good wine and currently has over 100 members. Tutored tastings are held every month and gourmet dinners and wine tours are arranged several times a year. The ‘academic year’ is from 1 September to 31 August. The annual membership fee is £12.
