Spring Lunch 2018

The Society’s 2018 Spring Lunch will be held on Sunday 6 May


Arrive at about 11.30 am and sip Champagne Le Mesnil Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2009, mingle and chat. Sit down to lunch at 12.15. A seasonal menu will be matched by new and exiting fine wines.

(The lunch will be limited to 36 members and reservations are accepted. Tables will be for 12. The cost is expected to be in the region of £60 pp.)

  5. Pellegrino, Passito Liquoroso 2016 Pantelleria (37.5cl):  “Pale tawny and obviously raisined and wood aged on the nose. Smells of spicy wood and then on the palate there’s a whole range of dried citrus peel and spices with notes of the sort of dried fruits found in Sicilian cannoli. Attractively dry, persistent finish. A distinctive style of sweet wine from a dramatic island off Sicily.” – Jancis Robinson MW
