Spring Lunch 2018

The Society’s 2018 Spring Lunch will be held on Sunday 6 May at Pannal Golf Club

 

Arrive at about 11.30 am and sip Champagne Le Mesnil Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2009, mingle and chat. Sit down to lunch at 12.15. A seasonal menu will be matched by new and exiting fine wines.

(The lunch will be limited to 36 members & guests. Tables are for 12. The cost is £49.50 pp.)

 

Agenda

  • Arrival: Doors open at 11.30 am. If you arrive early, please wait in the bar area until the tasting room is ready
  • Cloakroom: Members are requested to use the cloakrooms at tasting venues to leave their overcoats and other baggage. It will be greatly appreciated if overcoats are not draped over chairs at the dinner table.
  • Wine On Arrival: Help yourself to a glass of chilled champagne
  • Tasting Sheets: Will be e-mailed to participating members
  • Stemware: will be provided
  • Dress Code: Gentlemen – jacket & tie

Smells of spicy wood and then on the palate there’s a whole range of dried citrus peel and spices with notes of the sort of dried fruits found in Sicilian cannoli.
